The Hive

The Hive is the sister site of Curious Kitchen. Family run Kitchen & Bar in the heart of Loughton, Essex.
We serve breakfast & lunch, including a specials board with our locally famous S.O.T.M (Sandwich of the month), all served in a relaxed and friendly environment. We pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients from local suppliers. All of our meat comes from Churches Butchers in Epping and our fruit & veg comes from P.A Sparks in Abridge. Our Menu is full of home comforts with a few lesser known dishes for those a bit more adventurous.

Located only a short 5 minute walk from Debden station and Langston Road retail park. Unfortunately we do not have our own parking but there is plenty of parking options in the surrounding area, including 3 hours free parking at the retail park.
Private Hire

The Hive is available for private hire on any weeknight evening or on weekends day or night. We are a fully licenced premises, to serve until 11pm. With a large selection of drinks on offer, including wine, beer, cider, spirits & prosecco. You can hire the Hive just for drinks or include lunch or dinner. With low minimum spends, its a great space to get family, friends or work colleagues together.

We can cater for the following sizes:
Sit down lunch/ dinner up to 20 guests
Canape/ Buffet Function up to 40 Guests
Drink Reception events up to 50 Guests

The Hive is currently open Monday - Wednesday 8am - 3pm and Thursday & Friday 8am - 4pm.
We are available for private hire any evening and weekends.
